Dr Catherine McQuoid-Mason

Dr Catherine has over 10 years of experience working as a psychologist and aims to ensure that client’s feel supported and validated throughout therapy while receiving high quality care, centred on evidence-based treatments.

Catherine has experience working in a variety of clinical settings, and has been involved in providing assessment and treatment for individuals, conducting cognitive and academic assessments, and facilitating group treatments in the areas of: childhood anxiety, social skills training for children and adolescents, and parent training programs.

Catherine has completed specialist training in psychology, having completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Queensland, and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (with Honours). She continues to build on her training and knowledge, engaging regularly in advanced training courses. Since commencing her practice, Catherine has had experience working in: private practice, community based not-for-profit psychology clinics, school-based settings, child and youth mental health services, and university counselling services.
